The United States uses 236.588 ml (NIST). FDA nutrition labels round that to 240 ml. A lot of metric recipes use 250 ml. The imperial cup is about 284 ml.
At home, a teacup, a drinking glass, or a bowl is not a standard measure: those are marked as such here.
Weight also depends on the ingredient. A US cup of all-purpose flour, spooned and leveled, is 120 g according to King Arthur Baking. USDA FoodData Central lists 125 g for that same cup.
Packing the flour raises it. Sifting lowers it. That is why this converter shows the source on every result, and why it will not promise what a scale can.
Butter is listed once. In several countries the word for lard is also used for butter; this figure is butter. A US stick is 113 g.
0000 flour is not a separate King Arthur product: it sits closest to cake or pastry flour. 0 and 00 sit closest to bread flour. The detail is in the questions.
